Lake Chelan Rotary Echo Ridge Loppet
January 12, 2013 8am - REGISTER
The Echo-Loppet is a 26-mi non-competitive ski touring event that showcases the Echo Ridge Winter Recreation Area 10 miles North of Chelan Washington. The event is divided into loops of 12 miles, 18 miles and the full 26-mile “Echo-Thon Challenge” tour to accommodate a variety of participants. The course will be supported with break stations at 4 different trail junctions and takes place during the Chelan Winterfest weekend. The event is organized by the Lake Chelan Rotary to raise funds supporting local and international projects. More details...
Snowga
January 12th and 20th, 2013 10am - REGISTER
Never done Yoga before? Never Snowshoed? This is the perfect event for you!!! A great chance to experience both for the first time. We'll warm up with 30 minutes of yoga then off for the trail! This guided trek will last about two hours with stops along the way for Yoga Poses in the snow, hot Yogi tea, and time to enjoy the beautiful views. At the end of your journey, relax with 30 more minutes of yoga, and enjoy a sweet treat provided by Bear Foods Market.
Snowshoe Run at Echo Ridge Snowshoe Trails

The Winterfest Snowshoe Run is a 5k/10k snowshoe run as part of the Lake Chelan Winterfest activities. Men, women and children of all abilities are invited to participate. There will be a pre-race drawing for sponsor swag giveaways, as well as post-race hot soups and food to get you replenished. Awards will be given to the top Male and Female finishers for each distance. This race is part of the Snowdog Events Snowshoe Series, so points will be awarded towards the series standings.
Frosty Fun Run
January 13, 2013 11am - REGISTER
Bundle up the family, grab the dog and head out to the 3nd annual Frosty Fun Run. Register at 10:30 a.m. at the Manson Village Center. This 5K and 1K fun run and walk begins at 11:00am and all ages are welcome! Pre-register by January 11 for $15 or register event morning for $20. Registration includes a long sleeve tshirt! Polar Bear Splash

Grab your towel (and big coat!) and head down to Don Morse Park for the popular Winterfest Polar Bear Plunge! As the clock counts down, splashers make the crazy plunge in to the freezing waters of Lake Chelan. Afterwards, splashers get priority placement next to the huge bonfire as the fireworks show begins.
